RMRC projects are designed to help further our community and support our friends.

Rocky Mountain Roots Co-operative (RMRC) is an experimental high country organic farm that is focusing on supplying fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, herbs and hops/berries to our community. RMRC is dedicated to becoming a sustainable based permaculture designed Colorado farm that educates and provides an assortment of products for the Pine Acres community.
RMRC is working to finish the development of crucial agriculture structures and community housing by the end of 2012. Allowing us to focus on Farmer's Markets, Pine Acres Community (PAC) Sustainable Project (PACSP) and providing food relief to our local food banks in years to come.
RMRC is planning to develop into a learning center for permaculture design, plant usage and storage, music and alternative building. We strive to use recycled materials in all of our projects and build in alternative methods. We are sourcing well over half of our supplies through local recycling centers such as Resource. Working closely with PAC and local businesses, we are proving that progress can be measured in the bonds built by helping each other.
Dedicating ourselves to offsetting the resources used by RMRC, we will begin installing a Solar Power Field, Wind Power Turbines, Passive and Aggressive Solar Water Heating and exploring a natural gas well. We hope to offer workshops in all the above fields to the general public by 2014.
